The first thing that comes to my mind when I have to describe myself is a sentence written in the Bible. In the book of Genesis. “God created men at his own image”. I have never been a fan of Christianity and I don’t know if God really exists and who or what it is, but paradoxically this sentence describes my vision of life, or my Weltanschauung, to use a more exotic term…

Understanding this statement means more or less understanding me, my attitude toward life and my interests. What does “God created men at his own image” really mean? What is the image of God? What is the thing defining him as a being that he donated to humanity? Almighty? Eternal? Supreme good? I don’t think that these characteristics are intrinsic in the nature of human beings and therefore cannot really describe what God is, if we really are created at his own image.

I have been thinking quite a while and I ended up believing that the solution to this riddle lais in the sentence itself, in what really defines and describes God.
Creator.
Now that’s good. Men are creators. I feel like a God when I create. In the struggle of giving concreteness to this belief I have been exploring lots of forms of creation and set some targets accordingly. My goal is to write a book. I am at page 140 and still far away from finishing it.
For the rest I am a very good bassist, a self-taught poet, a decent photographer, a mediocre painter and an enthusiast climber. Things that define me as a person are the attitude of sabotaging myself when I perceive I am just about to achieve a goal, a deep curiosity about femininity, an interest in historical dynamics, a profound love for everything being unusual and rather awkward, especially in music (I love atonal music and obscure composers such as Schoenberg or Ligeti, although I appreciate modern music).
