I'm a guy in his late-twenties who lives in Canada. I used to be really socially awkward. I was also a total late-bloomer when it came to dating. I didn't lose my virginity, or even start dating until I was in my early twenties. I remember how terrible it made me feel.

To be honest though, when I think about it, worst of my problems were years ago. Since then I've had a pretty happily average dating life. I was in a long term relationship. I've had some shorter ones too. I've been on a bunch of first dates that went nowhere. I'd say I've been with some really cool people. Nothing most guys haven't done, really.

I don't think of myself as any kind of expert on dating or picking up women though. I don't write as if I was one, or write about the topics an expert would write about. However, I do think I have some insight about how guys who are unhappily below average at dating can become more contentedly average at it.
